PriceWaterhouse Coopers LLP: The best part of this site is the library. Here will you find an eclectic array of up-to-date information on a variety of topics. Especially interesting was information on the year 2000 problem, international events, and venture capital. Some regular features include hr insight, covering human resources, and Trendsetter, about small companies.  This site also describes the services of the firm. Association of Certified Fraud Examiners: This site of Certified Fraud Examiners is for people employed both by government and the private sector who resolve allegations of fraud, as well as assist in its prevention and detection. CCH Business Owner’s Toolkit: This very valuable site provides a course full of information on all facets of business management. http://www.toolkit.cch.com It includes financial tools such as excellent discussions of financial statements and analysis of them, business ratios, and cost/volume/profit analysis.

Directory of CPA Firms: This is probably the most comprehensive site linking to over 1100 accounting firms worldwide and to accounting societies. The site also has a useful CPA News feature. http://www.cpafirms.com

Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) / Government Accounting Standards Board: This site provides all proposed and historical rulings by FASB and GASB regarding how to handle specific financial transactions. http://www.fasb.org/
